most major one of them. Other performance evaluation criterias can be divided into two classes of previous
performances and modification and improvement of further. In previous performance evaluation the emphasis is
on previous actions, primarily measuring and comparing performance also how to use provided information is of
interest. Viewings of previous performance records provide valuable feedback on selecting methods
effectiveness and organizations educational programs. In performance evaluation with modification and
improvement approach, the emphasis shift on future work and the use of evaluation information for progress.
Management can focus on employees short and long term goals, eliminating performance drawbacks and
problems in the way, and future educational needs if performance improvement is the intention of evaluation.
The present research aim is comparing academic development of master students in virtual learning environment
versus traditional learning environment in Islamic Azad University. The statistical population sample size in this
research is 101 students (63 students of virtual learning system and 38 students of traditional learning system).
Data gathered from senior students of Islamic Azad University E-Campus and Islamic Azad University Science
and research Campus. E-campus learning system is virtual and Science and Research campus learning system is
traditional. First the students marks were gathered from both campus, then t-test was used in order to analyze the
data. In conclusion, the research shows that there is a significant difference between academic development of
master students in virtual learning environment and traditional learning environment in Islamic Azad University.
